Q + A

I've never been to a Renaissance Faire. What should I wear?

Think Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Bridgerton, Pirates of the Caribbean. Faeries, elves, pirates, mermaids, etc.! Also some inspiration ideas if you don't want to go into full costume mode - search for cottage core, fantasycore, fairycore, etc. Mostly, our hope is that our guests feel like they can play and have fun with their attire. Use your imagination!

Will there be Wi-Fi or Cell Phone Service?

There will be Wi-fi at the venue, but limited to no cell service. This includes the road to the venue. In fact, a lot of the more adventurous areas of Oregon including national forests, hiking trails, NPS areas, and parts of the coast have very limited cell service, if any. Please plan in advance for all navigation to/from the venue, and areas around the Umpqua River in general.

Is it possible to stay at the venue?

Yes! We have camping options reserved from Friday-Sunday of our wedding weekend. Camping on their grounds is permissible for a fee of $10 per tent, and $50 per RV. Please note that it is dry camping with no water or electrical hookups for RVs, but a great option for night of the wedding if you are planning to party, and need to crash. See accommodations section for a link to a nearby campground as well. Camping option includes access to a private beach on the river (when not occupied for photography purposes), and is a one time fee - not a per night fee.

Will there be restroom/shower facilities to get ready in if I camp?

No. There are porta potties only. If you want showers, full bathrooms, etc., we recommend you look for alternative accommodations.
